• When you read Jenika Snow, don't just suspend your disbelief. Take it outside, drive over it, back up, and run over it again.
  
  Tex is oh-my-gosh s*xy, and his feelings for his sweet young thing are so sweet he probably sweats maple syrup and bleeds strawberry jam. He loves her, needs her, wants to protect her, and is dying to get between her thighs. What makes the story work is her being just as crazy for him. Unfortunately, each of them is too shy to speak up, so they wait years, being miserable, until they finally admit the truth. The dialog between them is OTT corney, and the s*x between them is OTT hot.
  
  There is not much plot or conflict, but that's okay. Reading this is like reading Shakespeare or ancient Greek drama you know where the story is going and how it will end, but your satisfaction and enjoyment come from seeing how perfectly the characters and action are presented. There is no 50 Shades polished slickness here, just a super s*xy caveman and a woman who knows how much fun she'll have once they get to his cave.
  
  If you are tired of unbelievably arrogant billionaire heroes and angst-ridden, spineless heroines, do yourself a favor and click on a Jenika Snow short story. You will smile, laugh, and wish like heck to find a Tex of your own.

• The story has no depth, it makes you dislike the characters severely. Not sure how people could rate it 5 stars as it was really bad.
• Maybe I’m being spoiled by author Brill Harper’s short stories of “Real Men” but I was bored with this book. I rolled my eyes a lot while reading this book. The conflict was a forced scenario of an age gap and crossing a sister/best friend barrier line that was really very unimportant.
  
  The intimate scene was silly excessive talking and lame action. I had been noticed that all the women in Jenika Snow’s books and especially the “Real Man” series never seem to have a voice of there own. They barely speak and when they do they parrot the males words. The women have no real depth.
  
  Jenika’s earlier books and even a lot of the earlier books in this series were so hot and intense. Full of pulsing need and wrenching yearnings! I don’t know what happened but it has fallen off. I wish Brill Harper would write more books faster but I think I’m done with this series. Sorry Jenika Snow. I miss your previous writing efforts.
• Tex is a lot older than his sister and her best friend, Calissa. I love that he has wanted her for so long, kept himself celibate for her and waited until she was old enough for him. He hasn’t been idle, he created a business so he had something to offer her a good life with. This is a perfect example of good things come to those who wait. I love that these two get to have their HEA.
• I love this series!!! I have read and own all of The Real Man series and look forward to the next one every time.
  Tex knows what he wants and that is his sisters sister's best friend Calissa , but she is younger than him, but all he can think about is claiming her and making sure she is carrying his baby.
  
  Calissa has had a major crush on Tex but she doesn't think he feels the same until he proves to her she is his and only his.
• This book was short and to the point, Tex new he wanted Clarissa, so much so he became celibate and waited for her. I believe the authors math was wrong, in the book the author stated Tex notice he had feelings for her on her 18th and a year later he was going to take what was his, okay that is fine, however she is working at a bar and drinking wine, both you need to be 21 for, ijs
• Loved this super sexy, dirty, smutty read. I wanna Tex of my own!! The chemistry between Tex & Calissa was something else. They've both wanted each other for so long and Tex has reached his limit. His tired of watching her from a far. He's made up his mind. He's ready to make Calissa his wife. The mother of his children. And Calissa is more than willing.
• Jenika has done it again. This is a drop everything and read series of novella's. Tex and Calissa have been thinking about each other for years, and then one day everything just falls into place. If you enjoy a fast, sexually charged read this is for you.
